From September 16-18, 2026, SENSOR CHINA was held at the Shanghai Cross-Boundary Procurement Exhibition Center. Shanghai Chuangdan Electronics (ISSAUTO) exhibited its industrial acoustic inspection station (ISS-ACS-100) and delivered a keynote titled "Smart Pipeline Case Study" at the "Smart Water Network Monitoring System Forum."
The talk opened with a simple question: the moment pipelines are buried underground, manual inspection becomes impossible. Out of sight and out of reach, traditional inspection methods fail completely. Acoustic + vibration sensing is the viable path to replace human "listening" to the pipeline network.
Using an industrial steam pipeline network project as an example, we presented the full on-site deployment: 8 acoustic-vibration sensors + 1 acquisition gateway, covering the entire process from sensor placement and installation to go-live verdict. We also candidly shared three pitfalls encountered on site - IP68 protection with potting compound, environmental disturbance noise, and stable long-term operation under 80°C in steam pipelines.
This was not a product launch, but the external version of an 18-month project retrospective.
The talk slides and on-site video are published on our WeChat official account - feel free to view them:

If your pipeline network is also undergoing underground renovation, or if you are struggling with "can't locate the leak, can't suppress false alarms," we'd love to talk.
